We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Junior Software Developer to join our team. This role primarily focuses on managing, developing, and maintaining Shopify-based websites. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of eCommerce platforms, particularly Shopify, and will be able to employ best practices in automation using Python to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Job Duties

Manage all technical aspects of our Shopify platform
Collaborate closely with our eCommerce team to ensure efficient and effective website functionality
Coordinate and execute regular site maintenance, optimizing for performance
Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to the Shopify platform
Develop custom, user-centric Shopify themes based on provided design assets and wireframes
Work with the design team to maintain the integrity of designs during development
Test and optimize themes to ensure correct rendering across various devices and browsers
Develop, implement, and manage automation processes using Python to improve workflow efficiency
Regularly monitor the effectiveness of automation systems, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues
Collaborate with other developers to ensure smooth operation and coordination of automated tasks

Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently when necessary

Proficiency in Python, AWS, MongoDB, and Shopify’s theming system and Liquid templating language
Practical experience in eCommerce platform management, particularly Shopify
Knowledge of web design principles and UX/UI best practices
Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React.js is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience of 3-5 years in a relevant field
